- Amaze

Many of the families Amaze supports face daily challenges. COVID-19 has only made things harder.

Please help Amaze reach them

“The stress load, the mental health impact of COVID;
it’s not going to end when restrictions finally ease.
It’s going to be ongoing.”

– Leanne, a mum of two autistic children and an autism
peer group leader who assists families in her community.

COVID-19 and the lockdowns in Melbourne have been difficult for many.

For the families Amaze works with through the Community Support Program, it’s been even harder. Many of these families are facing multiple and complex challenges – like poverty or mental illness – alongside raising an autistic child or children.

Thanks to your donations earlier this year, the Community Support Team, Pamela and Carmel, have helped these families through what has probably been one of the toughest seasons of their lives.

But the Community Support Program has no funding for next year. And I know that for many families, things are only going to get harder.

As these families deal with the challenges of returning to school and try to deal with the impact COVID-19 has had on their children’s wellbeing and development, many will need the assistance this program provides – perhaps more than ever.

Please give now to help Amaze reach every family who needs our support in 2021.

Thank you
