Hoodie Up at School is a simple, flexible way for schools to take part in Hoodie Up 2026 and show support for Autistic students, families and staff.
There’s no single way to celebrate. However your school chooses to Hoodie Up, your participation helps Autistic people in your community feel seen, heard and valued.
With this year’s theme, Diversity in our community, Hoodie Up at School recognises that there are many ways to be Autistic, many ways to belong, and many ways for schools to show understanding and inclusion.
Schools can take part in ways that suit their students, timetable and community – from simple hoodie days to classroom activities and school-wide conversations about diversity and inclusion.
While the official Hoodie Up Day is Thursday 19 March 2026, schools are encouraged to celebrate at any time of the year.
