A-Plus Inclusion Program: Open Pathway

Neuroinclusion training for professionals

Neuroinclusive practice is increasingly recognised as a baseline capability in contemporary workplaces. Rather than a standalone diversity initiative, it shapes how organisations attract, support, and retain people across the employee lifecycle.

What is the A-Plus Inclusion Program?

The A-Plus Inclusion Program is a 7–10 week professional development course. Co-designed and informed by Autistic lived experience to build practical, sustainable neuroinclusive practice in workplaces, it combines self-paced online learning with facilitated interactive workshops

The A-Plus Inclusion short course also includes a choice of program focus.  Participants can choose between the Neuroinclusive Systems focus or the Leading Neuroinclusive Teams focus, depending on their role. For a detailed breakdown of each focus area, see the A-Plus Inclusion: Open Pathway – Course Guide.

About the Open Pathway program

The Open Pathway format follows the same 7–10 week structure and blended learning approach but is designed specifically for individuals and small teams. Participants join a cohort of professionals from different organisations, creating opportunities for shared learning and cross-sector perspectives.

What you will learn

You  will leave with a better understanding of:

  • how neurodiversity shapes the Autistic experience at work
  • differences in sensing, thinking, communication and interaction
  • practical ways to apply neuroinclusive practice in real-world workplace contexts.

There is a smiling woman in a salmon-coloured tank top and cream cardigan, a smiling man in a blue shirt who is looking down at a notebook, and a woman with teal hair who has her back to the camera. They all appear to be collaborating on a project.

Program focus

Focus your learning

To focus your training on what most aligns with your role and the skills you want to develop, participants of A-Plus Inclusion Program: Open Pathway choose one of two tailored streams:

Neuroinclusive Systems focus | 16 March – 7 May 2026

This stream will focus on applying a neuroinclusive lens to workplace systems – including policies, procedures and processes – and how current practices may be unintentionally excluding or marginalising neurodivergent people.

Neuroinclusive Leadership focus | 30 March – 21 May 2026

This stream will focus on understanding how your leadership practices, workflow management and communication style can support all neurotypes in your teams in day-to-day interactions.

Note: All participants will complete the same self-paced e-learning modules.

Expressions of interest applications will be opening soon.
