A practical guide from Amaze and Diversity Council Australia

Most organisations want to build a more neuroinclusive workplace. But few know where to start, and even fewer have the data to guide them.

Neurodivergent employees are present in every workforce, yet many don’t feel safe sharing this at work. Without meaningful workforce data, organisations are left designing inclusion initiatives without understanding who they’re designing them for.

Developed by Amaze in collaboration with Diversity Council Australia, and informed by a national consultation with nearly 3,000 participants, Neurodiversity Data at Work offers practical guidance on how to collect neurodiversity data ethically, safely and respectfully − and how to use it to drive real change.

This guide covers:

  • why neurodiversity data matters for understanding workplace inclusion
  • the barriers that prevent employees from sharing their neurodivergence
  • principles for ethical and safe data collection
  • how organisations can interpret and use the data to strengthen neuroinclusion.
