Our Commitment to Child Safety

Amaze is committed to prioritising and upholding the safety of children and young people. We are committed to regularly training and educating our staff and volunteers on the importance of child safety, risk identification, preventative measures and reporting procedures.

Amaze has a zero-tolerance policy to child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously and in line with our relevant policies and procedures. We will enact upon our legal and moral obligations to contact authorities at our discretion when we worried about or receive a report regarding a child’s safety or receive disclosure of alleged child abuse.

We are committed to the cultural safety of all children and young people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, culturally and/or linguistically diverse, and children with a disability. We encourage and promote the safety, participation and empowerment of all children and young people.
