Jimmy Dooley Rollers take on a 1000km challenge!
A group of keen bike riders called the ‘Jimmy Dooley Rollers’ rode 1000kms in 3 days to raise funds and awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As one of the riders says:
“The inspiration for the ride was the spirit of adventure and a desire to support a very worthy cause. Some of us and many of our friends and colleagues are directly affected by the challenges of autism, fuelling our desire to support the efforts of Autism Victoria and the work they do in the community.”
Riders brave and bold, rode from Adelaide to Melbourne, in relay format inside 3 days. Over 1000kms in 72 hrs!
The riders paid for the privilege of participating and raised funds for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The group knocked its target right out of the water - breaking their original target of $10,000 by more than double. The final total came to around $25,000. We are very grateful to the whole group, their families, the support team, photographer and everyone who supported them by making donations.
Congratulations on a wonderful event.
