Organising Agency Sailors with disAbilities
Description

Sailors with disABILITIES (SWD) are a non-for-profit organisation which has been in existence for more than 23 years. Through our inclusive sailing programs, SWD aims to improve the lives of young Australians living with a disability or those facing adversity. Through our 100+ volunteer crew members, SWD are able to run entirely free sailing programs year-round out of Docklands. There are 2 types of sails that you can join-  ‘Winds of Joy’: sails are where we take up to 15 passengers at a time (passengers and their carers) out on our yacht to experience the thrill of being on the Yarra.   ‘Winds of Care’:  this program specifically caters to carers groups allowing for a 3-hour respite sail, crewed once again by our dedicated skilled volunteers. We cater for all types of clients and you can read more on our website www.sailorswithdisabilities.com or call 0421 725 170
