Live Across Victoria

Using the latest technology, VAC 2012 will be streamed live from the Sebel Albert Park to 8 regional venues from Mildura to Traralgon and from Albury-Wodonga to Warrnambool, making it a truly state-wide event.

This technology was tried for the first time at our 2010 conference with excellent results: all 4 streams ran live at all 9 venues with opportunities for those at regional venues to ask questions of the speakers via live linkup through the regional coordinators.

Any cancellations received prior to 31 May 2012 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received on or after 1 June 2012 will not be refunded. All cancellations must be made in writing to jacqui@theconferencemanager.com.au. Name changes are permitted and requests are to be made in writing.

Conference Sessions

All conference sessions will be presented in English and no translation services will be provided. Please refer to the website for information on topics and session times.

Regional Conferences

Please note that all speakers at the conference are presenting live in Melbourne (not in the regional centres). Regional centres will be provided with a live stream of the presentations being shown in Melbourne. There will be an opportunity for those at regional venues to forward questions to speakers for a response.

Children and Families

Due to the nature of the conference and venues, no arrangements will be made for child minding/caring facilities. Delegates are asked to make alternative arrangements for their children during the conference days.

Delegate Comfort

Please be aware that we are expecting a high number of delegates at each location, so some delegates may find the level of activity and noise overwhelming. While the committee will make every effort to arrange for a quiet space to be available at each venue, not all venues have the capacity to offer a separate room for this purpose. At some venues, the quiet space may be a public area such as a garden, foyer or courtyard. Please consider this when registering for the conference.
