Support plan training is recommended for professionals.

We have a number of training events available for the public to book.

Developing an Individualised Behaviour Support Plan

Monday 13th November 10am – 1pm

Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

This training is recommended for professionals who are supporting people who engage in behaviours of concern. Using the principals of positive behaviour support, this training covers:


  • Communication and behaviour
  • Assessing behaviours of concern
  • Functions of behaviour
  • Information on how to develop behaviour support plan
  • How to implement and monitor plans

This training assumes that participants have a good understanding of autism spectrum disorder or have attended an introductory workshop.

Grandparents of Children with Autism

Wednesday 29th November 10am – 1pm

Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

Introduction to:

  • What is Autism Spectrum Disorder?
  • The impact of autism on your grandchild and the family
  • Common feelings of grandparents when their grandchild is diagnosed
  • Ideas for bonding and playing with your grandchild
  • How grandparents can provide support

Tickets $45 inc gst each, or $40 for 2 or more

Early Childhood – Introduction to Autism and Positive Behaviour Support

Monday 20th November 9.30am – 12.30midday

Introductory course covers autism basics.

  • Positive Behaviour Support
  • Key concepts include:
  • What is the Autism spectrum?
