Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Premier Daniel Andrews have signed an agreement outlining the next steps in rolling out the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Victoria.

Following the trail in the Barwon region which began in July 2013, the NDIS will be rolled-out across Victoria over the next three years.

From July 2016: North East Melbourne including Banyule, Darebin, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Yarra local council areas.
From January 2017: Central Highlands
From May 2017: Greater Bendigo

The rest of the Victoria will follow after these dates. To find out more, click here.

The Government has stated that young children under the age of six will receive priority help in recognition of the developmental needs of young children.

With over 40% of people currently accessing NDIS services on the autism spectrum, Amaze is committed ensuring the NDIS will meet the needs of people living on the autism spectrum and will be working with the Government to achieve this.
