Variety Children’s Christmas Party

The Variety Children’s Christmas Party will be held on Thursday 13 December and Amaze (Autism Victoria) has the opportunity to put forward names of children aged 0 to 13 to attend.

The Party will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and will be attended by more than 4,000 children along with their carers, who enjoy a fantastic fun event celebrating Christmas.

There is entertainment to suit everyone: carnival rides and discos for the energetic, face painting, a Variety Liberty Swing and interactive choices for those in wheelchairs as well as quiet activities for those who don’t care for the noise and excitement.

The party wouldn’t happen without the many organisers, entertainers and volunteers who donate their time and resources to make it one of the biggest and best parties in Melbourne.

This year, Variety will be providing one hour at the beginning of the day onlyfor those with disabilities – this will be of great benefit to those with sensory issues who struggle with the environment at the party.

All children receive a present from Father Christmas to round off their day.
