Ice Age 4: Continental Drift – Sensory Friendly Screenings

Sensory-Friendly screenings of Ice Age 4 will take place at 11am on Saturday 15 September at Village Cinemas in Airport West, Century City, Fountain Gate and Knox
Village Cinemas are showing sensory-friendly screenings of Ice Age 4, Continental Drift at 4 of their cinemas at 11am on Saturday 15 September.
These are the first of a series of sensory-friendly screenings, where house lights will be kept on and sound lowered to avoid sensory overload. The intention is for it to be and enjoyable and relaxing experience for those with ASD and their families in an understanding environment.
“This is a wonderful initiative by Village Cinemas,” says Acting CEO, Diana Heggie. “Going to the movies is something that all families should be able to do and we are delighted that Village Cinemas is trialling this across 4 of their cinemas. If these are well attended, there is every chance they will become a regular event.”
Ice Age 4, Sensory Friendly screenings, will be held at:
- Airport West
- Century City
- Fountain Gate
- Knox
