VAC 2012 – over 30 speakers providing practical strategies
The main aim of the Victorian Autism Conference is to provide practical strategies for families and professionals who dealing with the issues that ASD presents and to improve outcomes for individuals on the spectrum.
The conference brings together over 30 ASD experts from Australia and overseas to advise, inform and encourage. Four concurrent streams will cover Early Childhood, Primary School Years, Adolescence and Adulthood and delegates can swap between streams to listen to those of most interest.
The Melbourne event is completely booked with nearly 600 delegates attending, Traralgon is also full and registrations are still flowing in for the other 7 regional venues.
The Melbourne exhibition has also been fully booked for a few weeks now and will showcase ASD services, practitioners, resources and courses, with competitions, offers and special prices available to delegates.
For the first time, we are including a Poster Presentation, displaying a range of ASD research that is currently taking place in Australia – this is well worth a look and the authors will be present on Thursday to discuss their findings with delegates – check out the times on the day.
The Amaze staff will be present at all events across the state, working with the regional partners and local volunteers to ensure that everything runs smoothly for the full two days.
We look forward to meeting those of you who are planning on attending and encourage anyone not registered to seriously consider it.
