You can now purchase Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) resources and awareness products online – the online shop has just gone live at www.amaze.org.au/shop.
Products include:
- ASD Resources – DVDs and learning tools
- ASD Awareness – teddies, lapel pins, wrist bands, keyrings and T-shirts
- ASD Jewellery – a range of earrings, bracelets and necklaces
- Fundraising products – the Entertainment Book – more to come in future
Awareness and understanding of ASD are key to improving the life experiences of individuals who are on the spectrum as well as those who care for them.
“We are conscious of the fact that many families have negative experiences simply because the general public doesn’t have a good understanding of what Autism Spectrum Disorder is,” says Murray Dawson-Smith, Amaze CEO. “Wearing a wrist band or lapel pin is easy enough to do and if enough of us are doing it, it can have a big impact.”
The online shop also includes a range of products that are helpful to individuals and families, such as relevant DVDs, the new Nurturing Children with Autism computer-based resource, and the Picture My World product to help non-verbal adolescents and adults express their emotions.
